How does Still Not Sponsored hook people up with sponsors?

Still Not Sponsored utilizes decades of industry experience and contacts to showcase our riders to sponsors. We talk with team managers, shop owners, ski and snowboard companies, magazines, clothing companies, resorts and everyone in-between. We find out what they are looking for when they sponsor riders and then we pass that information on to you. Everyday, we feature the highest rated riders on the site to all of our industry contacts. When a sponsor sees a rider that they think will fit in with their team and represent the image of the brand, they may contact you directly through your profile.

How can someone get sponsored through Still Not Sponsored?

Everyday, the members with the highest Rider Rating are featured on the Home page. These are who we feature to the sponsors. The best way to build your Rider Rating is to submit videos and photos of yourself or your crew killing it. Entering all of the Sponsor Challenges and having everyone in your crew vote will help build your Rider Rating.

What is a Rider Rating and why does it matter?

A Rider Rating is your average score based off of all of the videos and photos you have submitted and have been voted on by other members. For example, if you submit a video and 10 people rate it a 7 and 10 other people rate it an 8, then you average score (Rider Rating) is 7.5. By submitting videos and photos and having your crew give you a high score will increase your Rider Rating. It matters if you want to get featured to sponsors and see how you measure up to all of the other members out there who are trying to get hooked up too.

What are Props and why do they matter?

Props are a running score based on your activity on Still Not Sponsored. For example, you can earn Props by inviting someone to join Still Not Sponsored, commenting on someone’s picture, taking a poll or submitting a video. A certain number of Props are associated to every activity you do on the site. For instance, inviting someone to join Still Not Sponsored is worth the most Props. You get rewarded for how many Props you build in many different ways. Every month we have contests to see who can build the most Props and winners get sweet prizes.

What are the Sponsor Challenges and how can I win?

Every month we roll out another set of Sponsor Challenges. These are opportunities for you to win prizes, get noticed by sponsors and build your Rider Rating. Winners are chosen 100% by the members of Still Not Sponsored. You can win by submitting a tight video, photo or design that will receive a high ranking.

I saw my picture on the Battle page. Why is it there?

The Battle page is where we feature all of the pictures that have been submitted on the site. The pictures are shown at random, so they can be ranked and commented on. This is one of the ways Still Not Sponsored showcases our members’ talents. It’s a great way to see who’s doing what without having to search through thousands of profiles.
